The Today's Skills: Tomorrow's Leaders program makes a valuable contribution, identifying and developing the leadership potential that exists amongst the Group Training network's 40,000 apprentices and trainees.
Each year 21 Group Training apprentices and trainees, high achievers in their chosen professions and potential industry leaders of the future, are chosen to participate in an intensive program held at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. They come representing all states and territories and from varied industry backgrounds. The creative learning environment of Today's Skills: Tomorrow's Leaders is a unique opportunity for participants to develop their leadership and self management skills. They are challenged to take their current training successes to the next level and provided with practical tools to assist in clarifying their vision for the future and in working towards making this a reality.
